Gregory Thompson, M.D.|
Dr. Thompson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. He then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Medical Microbiology at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Thompson received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He served his urologic residency at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Thompson is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Thompson is very active in his profession and in the local community. He is a frequent community lecturer on topics such as prostate cancer, benign prostatic hypertrophy/enlarged prostate, and erectile dysfunction. He has been awarded the Physician's Recognition Award from the American Medical Association numerous times. In addition, he has published in professional medical journals and presented numerous papers to professional assemblies.
Dr. Thompson maintains memberships in both regional and national medical societies including the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, the Philadelphia Urological Society, the American Association of Clinical Urologists and the Chester County Medical Society. He is currently the secretary/treasurer of the Urological Association of Pennsylvania.
